For our final post here, compare the Sanjuanito dance as you've seen it performed in these three videos to another dance that you are familiar with. Describe the similarities as well as the differences.

  1. when we went to the college and saw the flamingo dancers they danced and they clapped with theirs and we joined them with the clapping.they had more energy and way more steps then the sanjuanito dancers...but the clothing was kind of similar to what the people wore in these videos

  2. these type of dancing remind me of country line dancing. the similarities is they are dancing arm to arm or just jumping back and forth. the differences are they have on different type of clothes. country people would have on cowboy boots and cowboy hats while the dancers in the video would have on skirts and ponchos.

  4. the last dance kind of reminded me of line dancing. Similar o9 nsome of the "Slides' that we do here in Chicago.

  6. I didnt like this video. They dancing was boring. There music was boring. Everything about this was boring. The other videos was loud. They where all moving around. They was all doing they thing. This one was just slow.

  7. i like this dance better because it wasn't that much movement it was low key and all the female was wearing a white dress and a blue wrap around it the men was wearing all blue and carrying a red flag on a stick
