I love many artists and bands but my favorites are: black eyed peas, the jonas brothers (i´m his fan),madonna, and david guetta, although not all the songs.

However I listen to some other bands, my favorite one is "Blink 182" they're from the USA ;) and "Black Veil Brides" too, but my mum doesn't, she says the singer looks a bit odd!

I think that the music stimulate our feelings when we hear it, when I was a little bit younger, my mom said to me that when you sing to the babies, you estimulate their brains, I did research about it and here´s a little bit of what I found...

I found searching, that every person determined theri own music, I mean every person has his own types of music, one person can relax with rock while other person can relaxe with Bethoven.
Some kinds of tones can stimulate some parts of the brain, for example I found that acute tones stimulate more than the high tones, so to relax, we should use high or strong tones, and for stimulate we should use acute tones.
So the music stimulate our feelings but it always is going to depend by the person who listen it.

My favorite types of music are Metal, Rock, Heavy Metal, Progressive Rock and all of that kind of music.
I love Avenged Sevenfold (Hard rock, Heavy Metal and Metalcore); I went to its concert last March 30th, this is one of my favorite days in entire live I went with my boyfriend, my best friend and two friends more, we were dancing and rocking all the concert with our favorite band and all the people in there, we can feel how we can’t even move and sometimes we can´t breathe because of all the people was pushing and moving everywhere. I have a great time with them.
They play awesome; it was my favorite concert I have assisted.
Avenged Sevenfold was formed in 1999, the group consisted of M. Shadows (vocalist), Synyster Gates (Lead guitarist), Zacky Vengeance (rhythm guitarist), Johnny Christ (bassist) and James “The Rev” Sullivan (drummer).
“The Rev” died of heart disease and combined effect of drugs and alcohol in his body in 2009. Despite his death they continued and with help of Mike Portnoy, the new drummer, they continued their career and create their fifth album Nightmare in 2010.

Talking about music.. I really like eighties rock… here in Mexico there is a radio station where we can listen to this kind of music in English, it is called Universal Stereo.
ReplyDeleteBesides 80’s rock, I like prehispanic music (if some day you come to Mexico City, you’ll find prehispanic dancers who also play music with drums, seashells and “maracas”). It’s sad to see that here in Mexico most of people don’t care about this kind of music, that’s why it’s not very popular; our old traditions have been lost the last decades.
There is a singer who also likes prehispanic music, his name is Fernando Delgadillo, and he writes his song’s lyrics. I hadn’t known about him when a friend told me about his music, then, when I listened to him I began to love the way he expresses his opinion about Mexico. You should listen to one of his songs someday, they’re very interesting. Sometimes I think the music we hear it’s always the same: they say the same thing with almost the same words. We should be different, that’s the reason why I like Fernando Delgadillo.

An interesting information of the music is the event called “Vive Latino”, but if you don´t know anything of this another event is called “Rock in Rio” the two event are similar because in both events many bands joins in only one concert. Rock in Rio joins bands of the whole world. And Vive Latino focuses in joining in Latin bands. For example in this year will be in Rock in Rio: Coldplay, Guns N´ Roses, Metallica, and Katy Perry between others.

ReplyDeleteIn fact, in the begining of the creation of music when the human had not many time in the world, the music was based in the sounds of nature and after that, he development diferent kinds of instruments with things in nature like parts of tree, stone´s, and with that things he could play music.
As the sounds of nature change from place to place different types of music were created in each location.

again, I´m fernando and i don´t like all the kind of music, but my favorite music is the in-d rock and the electronic music. i don´t like the comercial music becouse is any cases is very boring but i respect the others kind of music, but really i dont have in my ipod songs of cumbia, norteñas for example.

for me Coachella is the best becouse in the festival are several great bands. this is something about coachella.

I consider that the Susamurci comment is very important, because sometimes we discriminate the prehispanic music or we consider lower than other, but the prehispanic music is really amazing and have elements that demostrate the feelings of the mexicans.

As I see mexicans have gradually shifting our own culture and have adopted American culture more than other one, not only in music... we can see this in every aspect, for example in the clothes... you know clothing brands like Hollister, Aeropostal, Tommy Hilfiger Denim, etc.

The "Mariachi" is a group that plays several instruments including the violin, guitar and trumpet, but more important is the person who sings because it has to have a strong voice. Something very representative are the costumes of " charros" that they use. On holidays you hear this kind of music.

I´m agree with you, If someone wants to go to a concert like Vive Latino he/she should prepare psychologically and physically for A "Sunie Sun" hahaha and involuntary and voluntary physical touch, bear in air falling and crushing your head, drugs... and that kind of stuff.... but we have just see the bad part, and if you have lucky may you don´t live this things and only a good rock concert.

Hi guys, well i don't listen like a lot of mexican music, but one of my favorites bands is Camila♥ they are 3 guys that sings pop music, what i like the most about this group is the lyrics of the songs, they are really deep, for example if you're really in love and someone has disappointed you, I assure you that one of their songs will make you cry, of course not all of them are like this, most of them are about love, and no song can describe your feelings better than this guys.

Hi, my name is Daniel and I like all kind of music like pop ,electronic, hip hop etc. One of my favorite groups are the Black Eyed Peas because they sing very well and they give us in some of their songs a good message. This group was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1995 and "Where is the love" is one of my favorite songs of the Black Eyed Peas that was the first worldwide hit in 2003 for this great group. Other groups that I like are Mana, Intocable and Usher. I really enjoy playing music when I´m alone, when I 'm doing homework and some times when I am sad because I feel better if I hear music.

One of my favorite band is Coldplay about a year ago they came to Mexico and I went to their concert, was so especial for me because it was my eighteen birthday and and exactly at 12:00 am they played my favorite song ever called yellow and were balls yellow in all the place and all the people was so excited.
The Maine is another band who really likes me because they play songs about heartbreakers and more about love. They are from Tempe, Arizona, the band consists of 5 members: John O'Callaghan, lead vocals; Jared Monaco, lead guitar; Garrett Nickelsen, bass; Pat Kirch, drummer and Kennedy Brock, rhythm guitar and backup vocals.

ReplyDeleteWell, I like all kind of music but the one I like the most is rap , because it is not as repetitive as pop and has more rhythm, that is my opinion. However, “Rap” etymologically means "fast read" or "spoke fast".
Rapping can be traced back to its African roots. Centuries before hip hop music existed, the griots of West Africa were delivering stories rhythmically, over drums and sparse instrumentation.
Here in Mexico, I really don´t know many people that really like this genre but I recommend you to listen it because it is very interesting, because all the lyrics in the songs have a story that envolves you and sometimes you feel identified with it.
My favorite artist in the world is Nach Scratch… its awesome!.

Hi! I´m going to talk about another of my favorite music groups, it is called Camila. Camila is a group that is integrated by three men: Mario Dom, Samuel Parra and Pablo Hurtado. Mario Dom is the one who makes up all the songs, he writes them. Also he has written many songs to other artists like Thalia and Kalimba. Mario Dom is the principal singer and plays the piano, one of the other two songs, and the other plays the guitar. They three are a great team!!

I had gone to one of their concerts, on February 16 in went to their concert here in Mexico City, in the “Palacio de los Deportes”, it was one of the best concerts I have ever gone. I went with my best friend Fernanda , we have a great time, we really enjoy it, I know all their songs, so we spend all the concert standing and of course singing, shouting and laughing. It was a best friend’s time with our favorite singers! :)

Hi Friends!!! My favorite music troba, rock and The narco corridos. In the troba my favorite singer is Ricardo Arjona and my favorite song is "Desnuda", and in Rock I like the group of Cuatro y Medio and the song is "Siempre", and in Narco Corridos I like Komander and my favorite song is "El junior del viejon". In espcial I like these genres of music because most of this have stories in some times are romantic or everyday things but in narco corridos sing the stories of the narcotraficantes.

Hi there :) well this time I will tell you about what music I love to listen. Ilike pop, electro, and ballads. Some of my favorite groups of music are The Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta and Coldplay.

@Zukai I agree with you, the classic songs relax too much, however, if I hear classic songs I would sleep all the time.

Is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s, and was the precursor to rocksteady and reggae.Ska combined elements of Caribbean mento and calypso with American jazz and rhythm and blues. It is characterized by a walking bass line accented with rhythms on the upbeat. In the early 1960s, ska was the dominant music genre of Jamaica and was popular with British mods. And my favorite band is Ska-p is a ska punk band formed in Vallecas (Madrid), Spain, in 1994.
The band can be categorized, politically, as an anti-establishment musical group. It is one of the most popular ska bands in Spain, Europe, and Latin America.

ReplyDeleteI like many genres of music like: trance, house, pop (as Camila, Luis Miguel, Kalimba (I went to see Kalimba on the Theater Metropolitan of México the last year), ballads, classic rock, classical like André Rieu and I reminded that last year so I went to see his first concert in Mexico and his Johann Strauss Orchestra and it was amazing to see the king of the waltz.
And I also like christian groups such as Hillsong, christian music is characterized by their praises to God and the reason principal is to recognize God and Jesus as our Savior, there are a lot of kinds of christian music like: reggeton, rock, pop and heavy metal.
On the other hand I also like bands like: Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi or Coldplay like Cassandra...
I hope someone likes a lot of kind’s music like me.

ReplyDeleteI have to say that I also agree with Angeles in many things. Camila is my favorite band and is the best one that describes the love in a beautiful and precise form that makes you cry. I also like the Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, Taylor Swift and many more.
On the other hand, I wanted to share with you that this last week in my school, there was an event that is presented semester after semester. It is about many groups of different types of dances and music that show us their choreographies. And there was a kind of dance that I especially liked. I had heard about it and I know a song of that genre, but I did not know exactly how to dance it, until I saw it, which is: "Bachata"

I like the pop music and rock as you but I respect this bands because for this kind of groups, the music changed. my favorite song is... wow I don´t know which one I love many songs and I have one for each moment for example when i´m happy i love listen pop music like bruno mars with just the way you are, when i´m sad i like listen how de is your love by the bee gees, on a party I like usher or bllack eyed peas, etc.

MI favorite music is house, electro, and psycho i like this music because you can take the rhytm that you want for example if you feel sad the music can take your feeling and somethings like that, my favorite artist is tiesto and armin van buuren, and in psycho musci i like gms and skazi i love this groups.
